Commission Splits
When a REALTOR® lists your home in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service), he or she is obligated to share the commissions they charge the seller with the agent who brings the buyer to the table.
How much they offer to the buyer's agent is listed in the MLS for all agents to see. Human nature being what it is, it is logical to assume that the more money the selling agent offers to the buyer's agent, the more likely it is that a buyer's agent will want to show your home.
Pretty Dog Realty ALWAYS offers a full 3% of the purchase price to the buyer's agent, regardless of how much we make on a transaction. And, we NEVER charge the buyer's agent any 'phantom' fees, like most brokerages do today.
